UK Quantum Technologies Winter School 2025
We are delighted to announce that applications are now open for the UK Quantum Technologies Winter School taking place from 14–20 December 2025 at the University of Birmingham.

Hosted by QuSIT on behalf of all five UK Quantum Technology Hubs, the Winter School is designed for postgraduate and postdoctoral researchers working in quantum technologies. It offers a unique opportunity to:
- Learn from world-leading experts in sensing, imaging, timing, computing, and communications.
- Build your professional toolkit with sessions on networking, communication, leadership, commercialisation, public engagement, and equality, diversity & inclusion.
- Take part in evening panels, fireside chats, and networking events designed to foster collaboration and community.
- Connect with peers, industry leaders, and guest speakers to expand your network and explore future career paths.
What’s included?
Attendance is free, with accommodation and full board provided. Attendees will need to fund their own travel, but £500 travel bursaries are available for those who would otherwise be unable to attend, please see the registration page for the details.
