Gas imaging

Methane is a potent greenhouse gas, and methane leaks can have significant safety risks with undetected leaks seriously damaging the environment.

Detecting dangerous gases

GasSight is a camera developed by researchers which produces real-time video images of gas. Although gases are invisible to the naked eye, researchers have developed a camera which uses single-pixel imaging to create colour-coded images of the gas, providing a highly accurate real-time picture of the scene.
