Who we are

We are the UK Quantum Technology Research Hub in Sensing, Imaging and Timing. We are one of five Hubs comprising the UK National Quantum Technologies Programme. Our website address is: www.qusit.org.

Our privacy notice

This privacy notice explains how the UK Quantum Technology Research Hub in Sensing, Imaging and Timing uses the personal data it collects and processes as part of the clinical trials we operate. It supplements the page on the University of Birmingham’s website ‘Data Protection – How The University Uses Your Data’ which, amongst other things, includes key definitions, explains what a privacy notice is, gives general information about how the University protects personal data and what your rights are.

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We are not currently not collecting any data on our website.

Cookies

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Are changes made to this webpage?

This privacy notice is effective from 25 September 2024. It is reviewed when necessary and at least annually. Any changes will be published on this webpage.

We collect website analytics data on a monthly basis, for the categories of: total number of page views, page views per webpage and visitor demographics (which covers country, language, and system used for accessing website).
